Abstract:
This polygon coverage contains the measurements of depth for Yellowstone Lake. Depth information is in meters (10 meter contour interval). It includes islands.
Purpose:
Yellowstone Lake has been the subject of much research in recent years. The management of non-native lake trout (Salvelinus namaycush), discovery of deep water hydrothermal features, and submerged cultural resource inventories demanded a more accurate bathymetric map of the lake.
