Out-of-print publications now available on CD

The Wyoming State Geological Survey (WSGS) has re-released three publications in their Bulletin (B) series on CD-ROM. Printed versions of these publications are no longer available and because of continued demand for them, the WSGS is now offering a Portable Document Format (PDF) version. These can be read using a computer with Adobe Acrobat Reader installed. The CD-ROM includes an installable version of this reader.

The three publications include WSGS Bulletin 54, entitled Fossils of Wyoming by M.W. Hager, 1970; Bulletin 60, entitled Thermal springs of Wyoming, by R.M. Breckenridge and B.S. Hinckley, 1978; and Bulletin 19, The mineral hot springs of Wyoming, by A.B. Bartlett, 1926. The latter publication is combined with the CD-ROM for Bulletin 60 and is included primarily for its historical significance and for comparison with data collected some 50 years later. Bulletin 54 continues to be offered simply because there is no other recent publication on Wyoming fossils that encompasses the scope of this bulletin. The WSGS is interested in potential authors that could write an updated version of this publication, or at least contribute some new chapters.

The CD-ROM for Bulletin 54 and the CD-ROM for Bulletin 19 and 60 combined sell for $5.00 each, plus 6% sales tax and are available over-the-counter at the WSGS publications sales office in Laramie. Orders are also accepted by phone, fax, or Email: please include $2.25 for shipping and handling and 6% sales tax for Wyoming addresses.
