Earthquake felt in Green River

A magnitude 3.4, intensity II earthquake occurred six miles east of Granger, Wyoming at 19:30 MST on November 21, 2007. The U.S. Geological Survey National Earthquake Information Center in Golden, Colorado reported this earthquake to the Wyoming State Geological Survey. The quake was felt as intensity II in Green River, Wyoming.

The WSGS has generated seismological characterizations of all Wyoming counties (see http://www.wrds.uwyo.edu/wrds/wsgs/hazards/quakes/seischar/seischar.html), which include analyses of historic seismicity as well as projections of possible future earthquakes.
